Your aim is to build and maintain the functionality of both our internal and our customers’ IT
infrastructures. This role requires previous experience with Virtualization and System
Administration
Responsibilities
- Resolves escalated customer issues of high technical difficulty;
- Resolves issues in our hosting platforms: public, both shared and managed and in our private cloud platforms;
- Works in close collaboration with your colleagues to ensure that service delivery to the customer is of the highest standard;
- Builds, tests and installs servers as per customer specification and according to internal procedures;
- Works with the Technical Support team manager to develop and maintain the hosting and virtualization infrastructure of our company and ensure procedures are added and updated as required;
- Monitors internal infrastructure in order to maintain stability and proactively and continuously focus on correcting and preventing technical issues and improving performance;
- Helps our colleagues with internal IT related duties;
- Installation and maintenance of internal infrastructure: systems and platforms - shared hosting, VPS, virtualization nodes, clouds, preparation of servers;
- Improving the internal processes and procedures to achieve optimal performance;
- Documentation and internal tech and KB know-how guides;
- Handling of escalation from lower level team members and making sure follow-up training and resolutions are well documented and available.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience of either System Administration (Linux or Windows based) or virtualization experience with Vmware vSphere, NSX, Horizon or OpenStack, etc.;
- Ability to install, configure, manage a vSphere environment including shared storage, security and updates;
- Advanced technical knowledge of the following: WHM and cPanel, Networking, Linux and KVM and XEN virtualization, Firewalls, File and Block Storage, HA, Failover, Troubleshooting, DNS, Security, Database administration;
- Experience working and troubleshooting with Linux distros: Centos or Debian, web server software - Apache, Nginx, Caddy, MySQL and MariaDB, Exim, Dovecot, SSH, Bind, NFS, iSCSI, FC, TCP/IP, iproute2, KVM, eSXI, vSphere and vCenter, Automation and deployment with Ansible/SaltStack;
- Experience working with NAS, SAN, storage clusters – installation, configuration and troubleshooting;
- KExperience working with iDRAC, iLO, IPMI – how to connect, update, reset;
- Attention to details and ability to focus on tasks to ensure optimal output;
- Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis is your second nature, you are comfortable working with the unknown and you thrive in complex scenarios;
- Know-how to take ownership and responsibility of task and ensure its completed and documented correctly;

Responsibilities
- Analyzes vulnerability information, activities, and events to provide leadership with security situational awareness of overall security posture;
- Analyzes security incident resolution processes and provide recommendations for improvements;
- Assists in audit log review processes;
- Assists in creating and documenting standard processes by which information security professionals can analyze various vulnerability data, conduct trending and impact analysis, and consult various customers on the meaning of the data and its impact on enterprise areas or responsibility;
- Understands firewall and security practices and configuration;
- Maintains standards and documentation on an ongoing basis as products and technologies evolve;
- General experience and knowledge of cloud native platforms (AWS, Azure and GCP);
- General experience and knowledge of VMWare and Openstack;
- Performs research on new methods for detecting malicious or suspicious cyber behavior;
- Develops new methods for detecting cyber threats through monitoring security controls and technology;
- Develops and deploys event correlation and risk-based methods for building detections;
- Develops and deploys detections in behavioral analytics platforms.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a similar technical field with 2 years of experience or 3 years of relevant experience may be substituted for education;
- Experience implementing and maintaining security controls;
- Previous experience in a fast-paced consulting or MSP environment is as plus;
- Strong prioritization, problem solving, diagnosis and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience creating reports using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.);
